
Alex Nourafshan is a fintech lawyer, specializing in payments, lending, banking, data privacy and consumer protection. Alex advises clients on product structuring, licensing, compliance, commercial agreements and enforcement matters.
Alex is the author of academic articles appearing in numerous publications, including the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy, the Albany Law Review and the Florida State University Law Review. Alex’s scholarship focuses on LGBT legal issues, critical race theory, intersectionality and feminist legal theory.
Alex received his law degree from Vanderbilt Law School in 2015, where he was named a Vanderbilt Legal Academy Scholar. He is a native of Marin County, and is the founding Chair of the California Film Institute’s NextGen division.
